Grab a cup of tea, let’s talk about a forced pause

🩹 A little journal note written from a very specific corner of my bed.
Hey friend,
If you’ve been following my journey since last year, you might get a massive sense of déjà vu reading this. My old knee injury decided to make a comeback this past week, forcing me into a total, mandatory hard stop.
At first, I’ll be completely honest, I felt so frustrated. I had a script ready to go, a routine I wanted to keep, and a video I wanted to shoot for you all. But my body had other plans, and it demanded I sit still.
We live in a world that constantly tells us to run. It tells us to keep up, stay on top of trends, and look at the next shiny thing. When you are forced to step away from that daily rush, the silence can feel a bit heavy at first.
But as the days went by, I realized something beautiful. This forced pause stripped away all the digital noise. It reminded me that slow living isn't just a topic I talk about in front of a camera, it’s a practice I have to live out, especially when things don't go as planned.

Right in the middle of this quiet, painful week, something magical happened. A notification popped up on my phone.
Someone downloaded The Mindful Closet Workbook.
It was my very first digital product sale. Her name is Deepthy.
I just woke up, and seeing her name on my screen felt like a giant, reassuring hug from the universe. It completely made my week. When you spend hours researching, designing, and pouring your heart into a project, you always wonder if it will truly help someone. Knowing Deepthy is using it to audit her closet right now filled me with so much gratitude.
So, while I am resting and waiting to get back behind the camera, I am choosing to practice what I preach. I am letting things move slowly.
Thank you for always being the safest, warmest space for me to show up completely human.
How has your week been? Have you been forcing yourself to run, or are you taking some time to pause too? Let’s chat in the comments below. 🤍
Take care,
Heli 🌿
