A monochrome watercolor landscape painting for day 19

For the 19th day, I decided to paint on a deckled edges paper which is done by myself. I love doing deckled edges and then painting on them. It gives a rustic feeling to the painting.

Painting a monochrome painting is my favorite method and especially for the mountains. Two years ago when I started painting, I painted two medium-sized paintings using the same method. I have a tutorial video on how to paint a monochrome painting on my YouTube channel. If you are interested in that, I suggest you check it out.

As I have mentioned in the previous blog, I am hosting an event where artists like you and me are gathering to paint a landscape painting where I will guide you step by step and we will help each other to paint. If you are interested, please visit this link to know more and book your free seat.

What is a monochrome painting?

Monochrome painting is painted using only single color but using different values. For example, I used only one color - Indigo - to paint this beautiful landscape. I used different values of Indigo to paint the sky, mountains, clouds, and birds.

I have uploaded a real-time painting video of this monochrome watercolor landscape painting.

Thank you so much for stopping by.
